Why we built it
Website performance reports can be dense and difficult to connect to what a visitor actually sees. Latixo starts with a simpler question: what happened during this real browser load?
The result combines load time, transferred bytes, request count, a final screenshot and a replay of the first viewport. These measurements are intended to help site owners form better questions and choose what to investigate next.
Who operates Latixo
Latixo is maintained by the Latixo Team. The team develops the website, Browser Node software, queue, measurement logic and explanatory content.
Latixo is currently a small public beta with seven independent Browser Nodes in Virginia, Nuremberg, Tokyo, Seattle, Singapore, São Paulo and Beijing. Every location has its own Chromium worker pool and bounded queue.
Operating principles
- Show the method. Measurement definitions and limitations belong next to the tool.
- Separate facts from guidance. A captured value is not automatically a diagnosis.
- Avoid false precision. One lab run cannot represent every visitor or every moment.
- Keep access simple. The current public test requires no account and is free during beta.
- Do not sell a verdict. Latixo does not offer paid rankings or performance certifications.
Current scope
Latixo V1.10 tests public HTTP and HTTPS pages from seven selectable global locations. It is a lab tool, not real-user monitoring, continuous uptime monitoring, a complete accessibility audit or a security scanner.
